The 2025 MENA AI Challenge showed exactly how Simera works. 18 student teams from universities and postgraduate programs competed in the competition designed for Simera to help channel their creativity and skills into AI-driven solutions for our platform.
Combining clear areas of innovation in hiring with a global proffesional pool that lives with the consequences of the gaps and cracks in the hiring process created a powerful opportunity for innovation. The results were working prototypes that leveraged both Managed and Open-source LLMs to solve challenges in the global hiring process. It’s a clear example of how unique talent can generate meaningful outcomes when given the right opportunities.

- InnovAItors - creating a realtime text/voice powered solution to safely and securely connect global professionals with clients from before the first interview.
- InnovAIxis - leveraging existing development tools like GitHub and design solutions like Figma to create powerful job specifications and matches driven by data and work output at the start of the process.
- InnovAItive - built a custom RAG and training set to make open-source LLMs outperform managed LLMs on tasks around skill assessment and feedback.
